Haryana Approves ₹3,647-Crore Clean Air Project

Welfare for PwDs, Shrine Bill, and Pollution-Free Goal by 2030….

Chandigarh : The Haryana Cabinet, chaired by CM Nayab Singh Saini, has approved the ₹3,647-crore Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD), supported by the World Bank. The initiative aims to enhance air quality and reduce emissions across the Indo-Gangetic Plain by 2030.

Key decisions include:

PwD Pension Expansion: 10 new disability categories added to the pension scheme, benefiting 32,000 more individuals.
Shrine Board Bill: Approval for the Haryana Baba Shree Khatu Shyam Chuklana Dham Shrine Bill to improve facilities for pilgrims.
Debt Waiver: ₹1.47 crore recoverable dues waived for former employees of CONFED, HML, and other corporations.
The meeting also included tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Parakram Diwas and measures to improve governance and sustainability in Haryana.
