Haryana AAP launches ‘Kejriwal’s assurances’
CHANDIGARH: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita launched five “Kejriwal’s guarantees” for poll-bound Haryana on Saturday, promising free electricity, medical treatment, education, Rs 1,000 per month to every woman in the state, and employment for youth.
Later this year, Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Sanjay Singh, and Sandeep Pathak joined Sunita Kejriwal at the Panchkula presentation of “Kejriwal ki five guarantees”.
In an excise policy matter, the Delhi chief minister and AAP national convenor is in judicial prison.
Kejriwal’s wife Sunita accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of imprisoning the Delhi chief minister because he was “jealous” of his efforts while campaigning for the AAP in the Haryana Assembly elections.
She called her husband “Haryana ka laal” (son of Haryana) and demanded that the BJP not win a single seat, saying “it is not about Kejriwal, it is about Haryana’s honour”.
