Gunfire in Broad Daylight: Three Robbers Loot Petrol Pump Manager in Jalandhar
Manager Shot and Robbed of Cash-filled Bag, Incident Captured on CCTV….
Jalandhar, Punjab: In a shocking incident in broad daylight, three robbers shot at a petrol pump manager and snatched a bag full of cash in Jalandhar. The incident, which took place in the heart of the city, was captured on CCTV. The police have launched an investigation, but the robbers remain at large.
The manager, identified as Sagar, was shot in the leg and abdomen during the robbery. He was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition. The robbery took place near the College Workshop Chowk area, and the CCTV footage has provided vital clues to the police. The footage clearly shows the robbers firing at the manager before fleeing the scene with the bag of money.
This marks the second robbery targeting petrol pump employees in just three days. In this incident, the robbers were on a Pulsar bike and fired shots not only at the manager but also at a bike rider. After shooting the manager, they took the cash-filled bag and sped off. Despite the violence and the presence of people nearby, no one came forward to assist the victim.
The manager was reportedly on his way to deposit the cash in the bank when the incident occurred. The police found a bullet casing at the scene, which is being examined as part of the investigation. The robbers’ bike had no number plate, which has made the investigation more challenging for the authorities.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety of citizens, as such violent crimes are now occurring in broad daylight. The local police have set up barricades across the city and are checking CCTV footage from various locations to identify the suspects.
The police are actively working to track down the culprits and bring them to justice. However, this incident has put the spotlight on the functioning of the police administration, with many questioning the effectiveness of security measures in the city.
