Panaji, Feb 14 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Monday exuded confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win more than 22 seats in the state assembly elections. Speaking to reporters after casting his vote at Government Primary School Kothambi Pale, Sanquelim, in North Goa, he said,” This is the first assembly election since the demise of our leader Late Manohar Parrikar. We have been able to campaign in all the 40 constituencies. I am confident that BJP will cross the magicalnumber of 22 seats in the assembly elections.” The Chief Minister called upon people of the state to come out in large numbers and cast their votes in support of BJP candidates for the sake of stability. ”BJP should be given another chance to make Goa self-reliant,” he said. Dr Sawant claimed that he would win the Sanquelim seat by more than 4000 votes. To a question, he said BJP was facing different competitors in different constituencies.
