Ghaziabad Conversion Case: Girl Sends Selfies After Praying
Starts Wearing Burka, New Revelations Surface....
Ghaziabad: In the latest development of the Ghaziabad conversion case, police have uncovered disturbing details from the diary of the girl who committed suicide. One of the diary entries revealed that the girl had been severely beaten by Faraz Atar after she refused to pray. Her mobile revealed that Faraz had added her to several WhatsApp groups that taught Islamic rituals and forced her to listen to religious sermons on her phone.
The girl’s father revealed that he had witnessed his daughter praying in her room and wearing a burka. When questioned, she confessed that she didn’t want to follow these practices but felt she had no choice. Faraz had threatened her that if she didn’t comply, he would not marry her. The girl’s father, battling cancer, said he remained silent due to his daughter’s helplessness.
Faraz had also successfully converted her to Islam, and she began praying five times a day. He even instructed her to take selfies while performing each prayer and send them to him via WhatsApp. If she missed a prayer or failed to send the photo, he would scold her. Furthermore, Faraz allegedly introduced her to drugs, making her addicted to them.
The girl tragically set herself on fire on December 11, leading to her death. After her death, the police arrested Faraz and uncovered that he had been pretending to be in love with her for five years to gain access to her father’s 20 crore property. Heartbroken over this betrayal, the girl took her own life.
In the ongoing investigation, Faraz’s family members, including his brother Kasif, mother Moh Talat, and sister Sana, have been named as suspects. Police have conducted raids to locate them but have not yet apprehended them. Medical reports have confirmed that Faraz’s family was also involved in forcing the girl to have an abortion in 2021. Last month, they tried to pressure her into aborting again when she was four months pregnant.
Police have also found evidence of the abuse the girl suffered at the hands of Faraz. The girl’s suicide note and diary entries will be analyzed to match her handwriting. Several disturbing chats between the girl and Faraz were found on her phone, which will be presented as evidence in court. These chats reveal how Faraz manipulated and mistreated her.
