Farmers’ leader Dallewal discharged from Park Hospital, Patiala
Patiala: Farmers’ leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal was discharged from Park Hospital, Patiala on Thursday after a prolonged hospitalization, due to his indefinite hunger strike. Dallewal was shifted to Park hospital which is Patiala’s biggest Super Specialty Hospital on March 23 from Jalandhar.
Dr Pavittar Singh, consultant internal medicine at Park Hospital, Patiala said,” At the time of admission at hospital, the condition of Dallewal was very sick due to very prolonged fasting. With blood pressure of 90/60, his saturation was 95 % with high ketones level and zero urine output,”
He stayed in the ICU for 4 days before shifting to a room on March 27. Dallewal has a blood pressure of 120/80 and saturation of 100 % at the time of discharge from Park, Dr Pavittar informed.
