District Admins in border areas to raise further coordination: Guv Koshiyari

Kolhapur: ‘There are good mutually coordination between all districts administrations in border areas between of Maharashtra-Karnataka state and should try to raise further’, suggested by Maharashtra Governor Bhagatsing Koshiyari and his counterpart Karnataka governor Thawar Chand Gehlot.
In a ‘inter-state coordination’ meeting to discuss on various pending issues between two states–Maharashtra and Karnataka, which was held this afternoon at Residency Club in Tarabai Park area, as per directions of prime minister Narendra Modi to both state’s

 ‘Rajbhavan’, Mr. Koshiyari and Mr. Ghehlot praised both state’s administration officials for their mutually coordination between two states to resolve various issues concern the peoples living in border areas and said that the officials should try to raise further mutually coordination between two states.
Mr. Koshiyari said that there was good coordination in adjoining districts along with border areas between two state and it was necessarily to resolve some issues from mutually discussion between two states officials, which would intimate to the state government. He expressed hope that today’s meeting would become beneficial in future.
While Mr. Gehlot also expressed his satisfaction on today’s meeting between two state’s governors and said that concern local administrations should create more coordination and try to get benefit to the peoples of governments various schemes, giving facilities to devotees visiting to two states,
Mr. Koshiyari and Mr. Ghehlot directed both state’s district collectors and DSPs to send proposals of their presentations to both Rajbhavan and they would intimate to both governments about the proposals.
In the meeting many issues between two states were discussed including to limit height of water level in Almatti irrigation dam upto 517 to 517.50 meter, to take Kitvade medium project in Shara tehsil of this district as a inter-state project, which would benefit for the peoples of two states, to coordinate between two states excise department to ban on illegal liquor transport, elephants migration from Karnataka state, to get scholarships to the students living in border areas, to available platform for SAT buses in Karnataka state as per available in Sangli district to that states ST buses, boards on roads in two languages Marathi and Kannada and others issues were discussed and resolved unanimously some main issues.
Along Mr. Koshiyari and Me Ghehlot, Santosh Kumar, chief secretary to Governor Koshiyari, Ms. Shweta Sinhala, secretary, Saurabh Rao, Pune divisional commissioner, K P Mohan Raj, Belgaum regional commissioner, Krishna Vajpeyi, Kalburgi commissioner, district collectors from both state including Rahul Rekhavar (Kolhapur), Yashvant Gurukar (Kalburgi), Govind Reddy (Bidar), Dr Vijayumar Andean( Vijaypura), Nitesh Patil (Belgaum), Prithviraj B P (Latur), Sachin Ombase (Usmanabad), Raja Dayanidhi( Sangli) Bharat Waghmare( Solapur and DSP from different districts, participated in the meeting.
