Dimple Yadav betters Mulayam Singh score to 2.88 lacs in victory margin
BJP won the Rampur, SP-RLD the Khatauli seat in by-polls from the state
Mainpuri (UP): Dimple Yadav, daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav won the traditional seat Mainpuri, to represent SP in Lok Sabha for the remaining period of 18 months. The seat had fallen vacant due to death of party supremo on October 10.
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav said the victory in by-poll for Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat has unleashed a new energy in the party and it will contest 2024 general elections with full might.
While talking to the reporters after SP candidate and his wife Dimple Yadav’s victory in the by-poll, Akhilesh said that the party will work to rid the people of inflation, corruption and unemployment. He said that the condition of the situation of the farmers is poor and he will work to protect the interests of the farmers.
Akhilesh said that rising above the religious and caste lines the people have voted for SP candidate in all the five assembly segments in Mainpuri parliamentary constituency.
