Diljit Dosanjh fires back after AP Dhillon claims the singer blocked him on Instagram, clarifies the situation during his concert….
Punjab: The ongoing back-and-forth between Punjabi music stars Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon took a new turn after AP Dhillon asked Diljit to unblock him on Instagram before publicly talking about him. The incident unfolded during AP Dhillon’s concert in Chandigarh, where he addressed the audience, saying, “I just want to say one small thing, brother. First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me. I don’t want to talk about what marketing is happening, but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years. Have you ever seen me in any controversy?”
This comment came after Diljit had given AP Dhillon a shout-out at his Indore concert, wishing him and Karan Aujla the best of luck on their India tours. Diljit had mentioned, “Mere aur do bhaiyon ne tour shuru kiya hai, Karan Aujla aur AP Dhillon. Unke liye bhi best of luck” (Two of my brothers, Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, have started their tour; best of luck to them.
In response, Diljit took to Instagram Stories to address the claim. He shared a screenshot of AP Dhillon’s Instagram page, showing that the posts were visible, implying that AP Dhillon’s profile was not actually blocked. Diljit clarified with a cheeky message, saying, “I never blocked you. Mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa…kalaakaran naal ni” (My issues could be with the government…not with the artists).
Diljit’s comments suggested that his issues were unrelated to the artists themselves and were instead more political in nature. His post quickly garnered attention from fans, further adding fuel to the ongoing conversation between the two Punjabi music icons.
Both Diljit and AP Dhillon are currently on separate tours in India. Diljit is wrapping up his Dil-Luminati India tour, which began on October 26, and will conclude in Guwahati on December 29. Meanwhile, AP Dhillon’s The Brownprint tour recently wrapped up its second round in India, with his final show in Chandigarh on December 21.
The two stars’ professional paths and personal differences have once again made headlines, reflecting the dynamic and sometimes controversial world of the Punjabi music scene.
