Covid-19: 35 cases found in Khatu Shyamji area

Sikar, Rajasthan, Jan 8 (UNI) Thirty five people have tested positive for Corona in Khatu Shyamji in Sikar.

According to sources, 15 shops, a hotel and a dharamsala have been seized. In view of this situation, it has been decided to stop the ‘darshan’ of Khatu Shyam ji on Sunday.
Sub-divisional officer Rajesh Kumar Meena said that for the time being, darshan is not allowed till Wednesday,

Mega Vaccination Campaign was started for people of 18+ years. The first and second doses of the vaccine will be administered at 460 centers in the district. Khatushyamji Block Medical Officer Ashwini Kumar said that the medical department had taken samples of 308 people on Thursday. Local shopkeepers and people are among the 35 infected.
At present, everyone has been home isolated. 15 shops, a hotel and a dharamsala have been seized. Lakhs of devotees had reached Khatushyam on the new year, after which the medical department got the sampling done. Last year also, more than 80 corona infected were found in the fair.
