Jalandhar, Feb 11 (UNI) A local court on Friday sent Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s nephew Bhupinder Singh Honey in judicial custody for 14 days. The council representing Enforcement Directorate demanded 7 days more custody for investigation which the court declined and sent Honey in 14 days judicial custody. After completion of three days ED remand, Honey was produced in the court today. Earlier, he was remanded for four days ED remand. The ED had recovered Rs ten crore during raids on his residence and other business establishments in connection with cases related to money laundering and sand mining. He was arrested on February 4 after investigations done by the ED officers at its Jalandhar office.
