CJI Ramana launches 32 new judicial distts. in Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Justice of India Justice N V Ramana launched 32 new judicial districts co-terminus with revenue districts in Telangana state here on Thursday evening.
Telangana Chief Minister Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana High Court Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma also participated in the launch held in virtual mode at High court premises here.
Judges from the high court, district judges and Telangana Minister for Law A Indrakaran Reddy were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the CJI and CM also released a book on reorganization of judicial districts in the state.
The state government recently sanctioned the new courts and allotted land to them.
The erstwhile 10 districts of Telangana were made into 33 revenue districts.
Leaving aside the Hyderabad Judicial district, which did not undergo any change, the dignitaries launched the remaining 32 judicial districts.(UNI)
