City Congress Secretary, Jt. Secy. join BJP alongwith 300 workers
Chandigarh: Impressed by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, around 300 more people joined the BJP in the BJP office, Sector 33. Chandigarh. They were welcomed by President Jatinder Pal Malhotra and BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Sanjay Tandon.
On this occasion, Malhotra said, “.. on one hand the people of Chandigarh like a strong leadership of Narendra Modi and on the other hand the Congress-AAP alliance is against each other in Punjab and are seeking votes for each other in Chandigarh.
The State President said on Wedneday, the people of Chandigarh have to decide whether they want the candidate of an opportunistic alliance like Congress-AAP or Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon, who is working day and night to protect the interests of 140 crore people.
He said INDI alliance is a coalition, which has directionless leadership, whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has done many things in the last 10 years for the development of the country. For this reason, the people of the country and Chandigarh are trusting him.
He said the lotus will bloom in Chandigarh for the third consecutive time and in the mission of crossing 400 seats mark, the people of Chandigarh will make BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon victorious with more than 60 percent votes.
Sanjay Tandon welcomed the Congress leaders and other organizations and people of the colony who joined the BJP and appealed them to contribute in making the BJP win. He said the people of the country have seen that in the last 10 years, record-breaking development work has been done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Malhotra and Tandon formally made Ravi Kumar and more than 200 of his supporters join the party. Congress District No. 3 Secretary Japjit Singh Bakshi, Joint Secretary Gurdev Singh and Mohit, Malkit, Darshan, Kailash Nath of Bangala Basti community too joined the party.
On this occasion, BJP General Secretary Amit Jindal and Spokesperson Gurpreet Singh Dhillon welcomed him on joining the party.
State General Secretary Jindal said that on this occasion Rajesh Gabhari, Ravi Kumar, Vivek Gehlot, Sanam, Advocate Rekha, Brenda, Arun Kumar, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Yuva Morcha President Avinash, General Secretary Sanjeev, Deepak, Sagar, Amit, Rajesh and many others were present.
