BSP Leader Harbilas Shot at in Naraingarh, Condition Critical

Ambala : BSP leader Harbilas Singh Rajjumajra, who contested the Assembly election from Naraingarh last year, was critically injured in a shooting incident late last evening. Along with his friends Puneet Dang and Gugal Pandit, Harbilas was sitting in a car when they were attacked by unidentified assailants. Both Harbilas and Puneet suffered gunshot wounds.

The victims were initially rushed to the sub-divisional Civil Hospital and later referred to PGI Chandigarh for further treatment. Harbilas is reported to be in critical condition.

SP Surinder Singh Bhoria confirmed that the attackers arrived in another vehicle and opened fire at the victims. Gugal Pandit, although uninjured, was also referred due to shock. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and police teams have been formed to investigate the incident. Authorities are also coordinating with Himachal police to track down the suspects.

A large crowd gathered outside the hospital after the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
