several schools in Delhi, including Delhi Public School (RK Puram) and Ryan International School (Vasant Kunj), received bomb threat emails, marking a second wave of threats in just two days. Police, fire service personnel, dog squads, and bomb detection teams have been deployed to search the premises of the schools. However, no suspicious items have been found so far.
The threatening emails, sent from the address were signed by a name Barry Allah, according to reports. The email contained disturbing content, with messages referencing Islamic figures and threatening to “bring down” the school buildings when students were not present. It stated:
“Our children are brave servants of Allah. They shall complete their task.”
The threat emails also included references to religious ideologies, mentioning the Prophet Muhammad and claiming that efforts to resist the alleged attack would be futile.
This follows a series of similar threats on Friday, when 30 schools in Delhi received bomb threats. Investigations have confirmed that these threats were traced to sources outside the country. The authorities are working to determine the origin of these threats and ensure the safety of the students.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, over 44 schools were also targeted with hoax bomb threats, some demanding a ransom of $30,000.
Concerns and Investigation:
Parents and school staff have expressed deep concern over these recurring bomb threats, with many now routinely checking their phones for updates. The police have assured the public that thorough investigations are underway, prioritizing safety and security across all affected schools.
