Police Search Finds Threat to Be False...

Delhi security alertDelhi: Once again, a bomb threat has been received by a school in Delhi. Early Friday morning at 5:02 AM, DPS School in Dwarka Sector 3 received a bomb threat. Following the alert, local police, along with the bomb disposal squad and fire department, rushed to the site. After a thorough search of the premises, no explosives were found, and the threat was later confirmed to be a hoax.

This is not the first time that such threats have been made. On December 13, more than 30 schools in Delhi received similar bomb threats via email. The police had investigated the threats and declared them to be false alarms.

Later, at 8:07 AM, New Krishna Model Public School in Jaffarpur Kalan received another bomb threat. The police team immediately began their investigation. As they were still conducting the search, another threat was reported at 8:39 AM from Vishal Bharati Public School in West Vihar, Delhi. Authorities have once again launched a detailed search of the school premises.

On December 9, over 40 schools in Delhi received bomb threats. In that instance, the email sender also demanded $30,000 to prevent the bomb blasts.

The person behind these bomb threats has become a major challenge for the Delhi police. While the police have been able to trace the general location of the sender using the email’s IP address, the investigation has so far failed to identify the exact individual behind the threats.
