Punjab : The political row in Punjab over an alleged “non-existent” department has intensified, with BJP leader Pratap Singh Bajwa questioning Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal’s awareness of his own ministry’s status. Bajwa accused the AAP-led government of gross mismanagement, asking how a senior minister could be unaware that his department does not officially exist.

BJP leaders have demanded accountability, claiming that this is a sign of administrative failure under the Bhagwant Mann government. Bajwa further alleged that funds were allocated for policies and programs related to the department, raising concerns over transparency and governance.

In response, AAP leaders defended Dhaliwal, stating that the controversy was being exaggerated for political mileage. They accused BJP of misleading the public and diverting attention from more pressing state issues.
