BJP Leaders Retaliate Against Congress Protest in Jaipur, Patel Highlights Nation-Building Decisions
BJP Ministers Accuse Congress of Hindering Nation’s Progress, Criticize Protest as an Attempt to Conceal Failures
Jaipur: Rajasthan’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister JOGARAM PATEL and Education Minister MADAN DILAWAR have strongly responded to the Congress’s protest held in Jaipur. Patel accused Congress of always working against public interests and levying baseless allegations on the BJP. He claimed that Congress misled the SC, ST, and OBC communities for 70 years, infringing upon their rights. Patel further pointed out that Congress is now upset with major decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the betterment of the nation.
Patel highlighted the corruption and criminal activities during Congress’s rule, citing scandals like phone tapping, paper leaks, and bribery cases that had tarnished Rajasthan’s reputation. He criticized Congress for pushing the state into corruption and criminality, including issues like female crimes and money laundering.
Patel also referred to the Rising Rajasthan Summit held in Jaipur, where Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore were signed, promising millions of job opportunities in the state. He credited the Bhajanlal Sharma government for simplifying investment policies and making Rajasthan more attractive to investors, something Congress refused to acknowledge. Patel dismissed the Congress protest as a “political drama” and pointed out the infighting and nonsensical discussions at the protest site.
Education Minister Madan Dilawar added that BJP has made significant strides for the welfare and empowerment of the SC, ST, and OBC communities. He accused Congress of exploiting these communities and emphasized the efforts made by Prime Minister Modi to honor Babasaheb Ambedkar by constructing five monuments dedicated to his life and contributions. Dilawar termed the Congress protest as an attempt to hide their failures and mislead the public, calling it a “flop show” meant to divert attention from the BJP’s success in uplifting underprivileged sections and ensuring overall development.
