Bigg Boss 18 Winner Karan Veer Mehra Celebrates Victory

Chandigarh : Karan Veer Mehra, the winner of Bigg Boss 18, proudly declared, “Yeh trophy meri hai, aur main is trophy ka Karan Veer Mehra,” after a star-studded finale on Sunday. The actor, who had previously won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, entered the Bigg Boss house with no specific agenda but soon found his purpose. Reflecting on his journey, Mehra emphasized his focus on sustainability, trying to minimize waste by ensuring no water, food, or gas was wasted inside the house.
Despite the win still sinking in, Mehra expressed confidence, saying, “I always knew I was going to win.” He shared how being introduced as an outsider compared to fellow contestant Vivian Dsena, who was seen as the ‘laadla’ of the house, gave him the motivation to strive for victory.
The finale, however, made him nervous, especially with Salman Khan’s signature dramatic gesture of raising and lowering his hand, which kept him on edge. Mehra’s friendly approach ensured that he left the house without any foes or regrets, forming close bonds with contestants like Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodka.

Mehra also revealed a small regret — not participating in the “chai patti” task, joking that things could have been different had he done it. Yet, he remains philosophical, saying, “I do not make mistakes, mistakes have made me.”

As for the prize money, Mehra shared that he had yet to collect the Rs 50 lakh prize but is already funding the education of his staff’s children, a cause he deeply cares about.

The finale also saw surprise moments, with Veer Pahariya’s elimination, Salman Khan’s surprise appearance, and a nostalgic moment when Aamir Khan joined in to support his son Junaid’s film, reviving their iconic banter from Andaz Apna Apna.
