Bangladesh:7 BNP MPs quit The Jatiya Sangsad
Dhaka: All seven BNP MPs have resigned from Bangladesh National Parliament.
Members of Parliament announced the news at a much-discussed rally in Dhaka’s Golapbagh on Saturday.
They said according to the decision of the party, they have sent the resignation letter on the instructions of the acting chairman of the party, Tariq Rahman.
BNP’s seven MPs in the 350-seat parliament are Ukil Abdus Sattar, Harun-Or Rashid, GM Siraj, Aminul Islam, Zahidur Rahman, Mosharraf Hossain and Rumin Farhana.
Among them, Harun is abroad. He is reported to have signed and sent the resignation letter. Others submitted their resignations. MP Harun told UNI on mobile phone from Australia that they have taken sides. (UNI)
