Army Red, Chennayin FC locked in 2-2 draw in a Group C Durand Cup match

Imphal: Army Red and Chennayin FC match ended in a draw in the action-packed game played on Saturday at Khuman Lampak Stadium.
The second match of the Imphal chapter Durand Cup witnessed a goalless first half as two-time Indian Super League (ISL) winners Chennayin FC fought a pitched battle with Army Red.
Army Red took the lead when Lethaolen Khongsai scored a goal. Chnnayin’s Julius Duker struck back for Chennayin FC. Edwin Vanspaul of Chennayin FC scored a goal thus increasing the score
to 2-1 in favour of Chennayin.
In the closing minutes Liton Shil of Army Red scored an equalizer thus ending the match 2-2. (UNI)
