Jammu, May 9: Security forces on Monday busted a terrorist hideout in the bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Senior Superintendent of Police, Poonch, Rohit Baskotra said that on an input, the Army and Special Operation Group of Police launched a search operation at Pir Topa Forest near Dera Ki Gali in Surankote and busted a hideout. The search party recovered war-like stores, including 100 Ak 47 rounds, 24 Duracell batteries, two torches, pain killer tablets packet, small packets of grocery, six pairs of shoes, three backpacks, six pairs of clothes, two waist belts and utensils. Cognizance has been taken and investigation started, he said. (UNI)
