Anoop Dhanak’s Assets Surge by 375% in Five Years
Ministers’ Wealth Soars; Anoop Dhanak’s Assets Up 375%
Haryana: Over the past five years, Haryana’s ministers have witnessed a substantial increase in their wealth, with notable rises for several officials. Among them, Anoop Dhanak, BJP’s candidate from Uklana, has seen an extraordinary 375% growth in his assets. In 2019, his assets were valued at ₹1.39 crore, which has surged to ₹6.59 crore. Dhanak, who served as the State Minister for Archaeology and Museums in the Manohar Lal Khattar government, was in office for approximately four and a half years.
Asim Goyal, the State Minister for Transport and Child Development, has also experienced significant wealth growth, with a 260% increase. His assets have risen from ₹5.64 crore in 2019 to approximately ₹20.30 crore.
Dushyant Chautala, the former Deputy Chief Minister, remains the wealthiest minister, with his assets climbing from ₹74.77 crore to about ₹122.58 crore, reflecting a 64% increase. Similarly, JP Dalal saw a 52% increase in his wealth, rising from ₹76.76 crore to ₹116.51 crore.
On the other hand, former Electricity Minister Ranjit Singh saw a decrease in his assets by 9%, with his wealth falling from ₹27.08 crore to ₹24.04 crore.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also saw a rise in his assets, increasing from ₹3.58 crore to ₹5.81 crore, a 62% increase. Mool Chand Sharma, contesting from Ballabgarh, experienced a 169% surge, with his assets growing from ₹12 crore to ₹33 crore.
However, some ministers had minimal growth in their wealth. Anil Vij, former Home and Health Minister, saw a modest increase from ₹1.17 crore to ₹1.50 crore. Kamlesh Dhanda, former Minister for Women and Child Development, saw a slight rise from ₹2.62 crore to ₹2.86 crore.
In summary, the significant increase in the assets of Haryana’s ministers reflects both the wealth accumulation over their tenure and the broader economic impact of their roles.
