Ananya Panday Reveals Her Film Selection Process, Talks to Chunky Panday About Her Movie Choices

In an engaging conversation with her father, Chunky Panday, Ananya admitted that she prefers working in films that are loved by the public and are commercially successful, adding with a smile that earning money is also an important factor.

Reflecting on her experience with Gehraiyaan, Ananya expressed how the film helped her evolve as an actor. She shared, “I felt truly happy while doing Gehraiyaan because it marked the point when I started thinking like an actor. After the release, I realized the effort I had put into the film and how well I performed.”

Talking about her versatile roles, Ananya also mentioned her choice to be part of Dream Girl, saying that she loves doing something new and different. She has also worked in films like Patni Patni Aur Woh and Control, which are starkly different from each other.

Ananya also humorously revealed that she did not watch many of her father’s films as a child because she feared seeing him die on-screen. She reminisced about watching D Company, where her father, Chunky Panday, was shot and killed in the movie, which left her with a lasting impression.
