Haryana CM announces Rs 6 cr for Sumit Antil, Rs 4 cr for Yogesh Kathuniya and govt jobs

Chandigarh, Aug 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced Rs 6 crore for Sumit Antil for winning a gold medal and setting a world record in javelin throw and Rs 4 crore for Yogesh Kathuniya for winning silver medal in discus throw F-56 in Tokyo Paralympics.

The Haryana government will also give government jobs to both the Tokyo Paralympics medal winners.Mr Khattar said that Sumit Antil has won the hearts of the people of Haryana as well as the entire nation by winning a gold medal with a world record in javelin throw at Tokyo Paralympics.
Saluting his spirit, the Chief Minister congratulated him on his historic performance.
Mr Khattar said that Bahadurgarh resident Yogesh Kathuniya, who won a silver medal in Discus Throw F-56, has brought laurels not only to Haryana but also to the country. He congratulated Yogesh, while wishing him a bright future.
