Amit Shah to pay three-day visit to Ahmedabad from tomorrow
New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Ahmedabad beginning Friday, a government official said.
During his three-day visit, he will review development works in Ahmedabad, and Gandhinagar which is his Lok Sabha constituency.
On Saturday, he will chair a District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at the Ahmedabad Collector office. As the MP of Gandhinagar, Shah is also the chairperson of the district DISHA committee, which coordinates development work.
On Sunday, he will meet officials and MLAs of Gandhinagar for reviewing development work.
On Monday, he will launch a ‘nutritious laddu distribution program’ for pregnant women in his constituency, Gandhinagar, under the ‘Poshan Abhiyan’, a flagship scheme of Union Government aimed at making India malnutrition-free by 2022.
