Finance guru Sanjeev Sanyal meets MP CM

Bhopal, June 28 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had a crucial meeting on Monday – at his residence – with the Centre’s Principal Economic Adviser Sanjeev Sanyal, it was officially learnt.
In the expert’s words, “For improving the economy devastated by the novel coronavirus, we have to adopt the three-pronged approach comprising surveillance, feedback and adaptation. The 2020-21 Budget was expansionary, with emphasis on capital expenditure, land monetisation and privatisation of non-strategic sectors. Primarily, three measures are being taken. First, fiscal and monetary support to stimulate consumption. Second, to control inflation caused by increased demand. Third, providing targeted assistance to the most-affected areas.”
