Hamas, Islamic Jihad would pay a high price: PM Netanyahu

Tel Aviv, May 11 (UNI) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday wowed to ensure that Palestinian militant groups namely Hamas and Islamic Jihad will pay a high price for their belligerence against Israel.
In a special address to the citizens of the country on Tuesday evening PM Netanyahu said
“We held a meeting with the participation of security forces to assess the situation. We decided that Hamas and Islamic Jihad will pay a high price for their actions against Israel. I tell you today — they will pay with their own lives. We are united against the despicable enemy,”
The Hamas, which controls the Gaza strip claims to have fired 130 rockets into Israel.
Rocket sirens blared repeatedly throughout central and southern Israel on Tuesday evening, prompting millions of Israelis rushing for cover, as Gaza-based militant groups fired multiple long-range rockets from the coastal enclave toward Tel Aviv and its suburbs.
