Border conflict with Kyrgyzstan leaves 15 Tajiks dead
Turkey offers to assist Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan in settling border conflict
Dushanbe, May 1 (UNI) A flare-up on the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan has left 15 Tajiks dead, local media reported on Saturday.
The dead reportedly include eights civilians, six border guards and a special operations officer of the Tajik Interior Ministry.
Kyrgyzstan has also reported fatalities on it’s side as tensions came to a boil on Thursday in the long-contested border. 34 Kyrgyz nationals were reported dead and 173 wounded since day before yesterday.
