ADC Sonam Chaudhary Reviews Arrangements for 1st Equestrian Festival tomorrow

SAS Nagar:  In a first to enthrall the people of Punjab with a unique festival on the equestrians, the stage has been set to welcome the horse breeders and riders at The Ranch, Gate No. 4, Forest Hill Resort, Village Karoran in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district, said Sonam Chaudhary, ADC (Rural Development), here, today.
Reviewing the arrangements alongwith ADC (Urban Development) Anmol Singh Dhaliwal on site with the officers of various departments deputed for the event, the ADC Chaudhary directed all the officers and consultant agency to complete the arrangements for smooth conduct by today evening.
She said that about 34 events have been slated for both days starting from tomorrow (March 1). The two-day unique festival has been organised with collaboration of Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Punjab.
Besides the various competitions and other events, cultural boanza would also be the part of the festival. North Zone Cultural Centre Teams would perform in the  Day time while Renowned Punjab Singers, Meet Kaur and Dilpreet Dhillon will enthrall the audience on first and second day respectively.
Briefing the events coming on day-1, she said that Team Lance Tent Pegging, Six Bar Jumping, Sword Individual Tent Pegging, Horse Dance Competition, Fashion Show, Dressage Preliminary, Open Hacks, Farrier Test, Milk Teeth Filly Ring, Horse Display, Milk Teeth Colt Ring, Two Teeth Colt Ring and Fashion Show would be held on March 1.
On Day-2, Lance Individual Tent Pegging, Show Jumping Derby, Sword Team Tent Pegging, Fancy Dress, Final Run Sword Team, Medley Relay, Medal Ceremony, Dressage Elementary, Show Jumping Group 1-2-3, Pole Bending Race, Ball and Bucket Race, Ladies Hacks, Mare Nukra Ring, Horse Display, Stallion Nukra Ring, Mare Marwari Ring, Horse Display, Stallion Marwari Ring will be the attraction of March 2.
The others who were present there including DSP Navin Pal Singh Lehal, Harjinder Singh Khosa, Dipinder Singh Brar from The Ranch.
