Similarly, BJP and SAD leaders have demanded strict measures to curb lawlessness, alleging that AAP’s focus on populist politics is coming at the cost of governance. They are also calling for increased security measures and accountability from the state’s home department.

In response, the Punjab government has assured that law enforcement agencies are taking swift action against those responsible for these attacks. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has stated that strict orders have been given to the police to restore law and order, and no leniency will be shown toward miscreants.
