Shaganpreet, currently hiding in Australia, has been found to have played a crucial role in the murder of Youth Akali Dal leader Vikramjit Singh alias Vicky Middukhera. According to court findings, he arranged accommodation for the sharp shooters in Mohali and provided them with a vehicle to execute the crime. In light of these findings, the court has issued orders to bring him back to India for legal proceedings.

On Monday, Additional District and Sessions Judge Baljinder Singh Saran convicted three sharp shooters involved in the murder, sentencing them to life imprisonment.
