Haryana BJP MLA Warns Officials: “Won’t Spare Anyone Doing Wrong”
Scolds Officers, Issues Transfer Threats for Negligence in Public Duties….
Charkhi dadri : In a stern warning to government officials, a BJP MLA in Haryana reprimanded district authorities for negligence in their duties during a recent public meeting. Addressing grievances raised by local residents, the MLA expressed his dissatisfaction with the functioning of various departments and warned officials to mend their ways or face strict action, including transfers.
The meeting, held in a small town in Haryana, witnessed the MLA publicly scolding officers for failing to address issues such as poor road conditions, irregular water supply, and delays in government schemes. “This is the last time I’m addressing these complaints. If any official is found guilty of wrongdoing or negligence, I will not spare them,” the MLA said during the heated discussion.
He further stated that the public’s complaints had been piling up for months without any resolution. Citing specific examples, he pointed out instances where funds for development projects were either delayed or misused. “Your job is to serve the people, not to create excuses,” he added.
The MLA emphasized that his priority was the welfare of his constituency and warned officials that transfers would be initiated if they failed to deliver results. “If you cannot work for the people’s benefit, I will personally ensure you are removed from your post,” he asserted.
The remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some praising the MLA for standing up for public concerns, while others criticized the approach as overly confrontational. Local residents, however, seemed supportive of the MLA’s strong stance, hoping it would lead to faster resolution of their issues.
Following the meeting, senior officials assured the MLA that corrective measures would be taken immediately to address the problems raised. The district administration has reportedly begun reviewing pending projects and complaints to ensure timely action.
Political analysts see this as a move by the BJP to maintain its voter base by holding government officials accountable. The MLA’s actions are also being viewed as part of the party’s strategy to address grassroots issues ahead of upcoming elections.
The incident highlights the growing demand for accountability and transparency in governance, reflecting the rising frustration of citizens over bureaucratic inefficiency.
