Gqeberha [South Africa] : The Sunrisers Eastern Cape secured a 6-wicket victory over Durban’s Super Giants at St George’s Park on Sunday, propelling them into the playoff spots of the ongoing SA20 season.
Marco Jansen (2/23) led the charge for Sunrisers, dismissing Super Giants opener Brandon King early in the innings and igniting a fiery response from the home crowd.
Jansen’s stellar new-ball performance was backed by Richard Gleeson (2/19), Ottneil Baartman (2/30), and Liam Dawson (2/11), as they restricted Durban to just 115/8. Kane Williamson was the lone standout for the Super Giants, contributing 44 runs off 45 balls.
