Jaisalmer’s Trainee Pilot Chetna Bishnoi Dies in Road Accident, Her Organs Give New Life to Eight People

Jaisalmer: In a heart-wrenching incident, trainee pilot Chetna Bishnoi from Khitola village in Jaisalmer tragically lost her life in a road accident. Just before her dreams of flying high could come true, she bid the world goodbye. However, in an act of remarkable generosity, Chetna’s family made the decision to donate her organs, giving new life to eight individuals. Her heart, liver, and other organs were successfully transplanted at a hospital in Pune.

Chetna was the granddaughter of Bhairaram Bishnoi, the former Sarpanch of Khitola. Her father, Jyoti Prakash Bishnoi, and mother, Sushma Bishnoi, run an Indane gas agency in Pokaran. The entire district was shaken by the tragic loss, with several local leaders expressing their condolences. Among those who mourned Chetna’s untimely death were Pokaran MLA Mahant Pratap Puri Maharaj, former Cabinet Minister Shale Mohammad, and Panchayat President Bhagwatsingh Tanwar. Despite her passing, Chetna’s selfless act of organ donation has left a lasting impact on the community, setting an example for others.

While the dream of flying for this talented daughter of Khitola will never be realized, her legacy will live on through the lives she helped save.
