PV Sindhu to Marry Venkata Datta Sai, Wedding in Udaipur

Meet Venkata Datta Sai: Executive Director at Poseidex and Former IPL Team Collaborator

New Delhi: PV Sindhu, the two-time Olympic medalist, has chosen her life partner. Sindhu will marry Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur on December 22, with wedding celebrations beginning on December 20. A reception will follow in Hyderabad on December 24. Recently, PV Sindhu brought joy to her fans by winning the Syed Modi International Tournament, ending her title drought.

Venkata Datta Sai, based in Hyderabad, works as the Executive Director at Poseidex Technologies. Sindhu’s father, PV Raman, mentioned in an interview with PTI that both families know each other, and the wedding details were finalized last month. Considering Sindhu’s rigorous schedule for training starting in January, the families agreed that December would be the best time for the wedding.

Venkata Datta Sai has a strong academic background. He completed his diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education, followed by a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University in 2018. He then pursued a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Sai has worked with JSW as an intern and in-house consultant, and he proudly mentions on his LinkedIn profile that his finance and economics BBA experience is nothing compared to managing an IPL team, from which he learned a great deal.

He has been working as the Managing Director at Soar Apple Asset Management since 2019, while also serving as the Executive Director at Poseidex. On his LinkedIn, he shares insights about solving complex issues using proprietary resolution search engines, with solutions deployed in major banks such as HDFC and ICICI.

PV Sindhu’s Stellar Career
PV Sindhu is one of India’s greatest badminton players. She has won five medals at the World Championships, including a gold in 2019. Additionally, she has earned Olympic medals in both Rio and Tokyo Olympics. In 2017, Sindhu reached her career-best ranking of World No. 2.

Breaking Her Title Drought
After struggling with form in recent years, Sindhu claimed her third Syed Modi International title after 2 years, 4 months, and 18 days. She defeated China’s Wu Luo Yu 21-14, 21-16 in the women’s singles final.
