Bhiwani, Haryana. In a shocking incident in Haryana’s Bhiwani district, 13 12th-grade students have been suspended for one week after placing an explosive device resembling a firecracker under the chair of their female science teacher. The bomb, remotely detonated, caused significant damage to the teacher’s chair but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The Disturbing Incident
The incident occurred when the teacher reprimanded the students, following which they decided to take revenge by planting the bomb. A student placed the explosive device beneath the teacher’s chair, and another student remotely triggered the explosion. While the blast created a large hole in the chair, the teacher was lucky to remain unharmed.

YouTube-Inspired Bomb Making
Reports suggest that the students learned how to make the explosive device by watching tutorials on YouTube. After the explosion, officials from the education department investigated the matter and decided to take action. Although expelling the students was considered, the school authorities refrained after the students’ parents apologized and promised that such behavior would not be repeated.

Immediate Action and Suspension
Following the incident, a local panchayat was convened to discuss the students’ behavior. It was revealed that out of the 15 students in the class, 13 were directly involved in or aware of the incident. As a result, the education department, led by District Education Officer (DEO) Naresh Mehta, decided to suspend the 13 students for a week.

The education department’s swift action highlights the seriousness of the incident and serves as a warning against such reckless behavior in educational institutions.
