Bike Trip to Murthal for Parathas Turns Fatal

Sonipat: A tragic accident occurred near the 20th Mile Chowk on National Highway-44 in Sonipat’s Rai area, where a young man from Delhi lost his life, and his friend sustained severe injuries. Both were on a trip with two other friends to enjoy the famous parathas in Murthal when their bike collided with an Eco van.

Accident Details:
The collision occurred when the group of four friends from Delhi was traveling on two bikes. Near the 20th Mile Chowk on NH-44, an Eco van crashed into their bike. One of the youths, riding on the first bike, tragically died on the spot, while his friend was critically injured. The other two friends, on a separate bike, managed to escape unharmed.

Severe Injuries and Amputation:
The injured friend was rushed to a hospital in Delhi, where doctors had to amputate his arm due to the severity of the injuries. The group had set out to enjoy a meal at the famous Murthal dhabas, but the trip turned into a devastating tragedy for all involved.

Police Investigation:
Based on the statement provided by the injured youth, the police have registered a case against the driver of the Eco van. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident and whether any negligence was involved. This incident highlights the risks of road accidents, especially on busy highways like NH-44, and the need for caution while traveling.
