Central Govt Invites Applications for Hiring Punjabi and Hindi Language Professionals

Chandigarh: The Press Information Bureau (PIB), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has announced hiring of language professionals, skilled in editing, translation and typing, in Punjabi and Hindi. The recruitment drive aims to enable PIB better fulfil its responsibilities for government communication in Punjabi and Hindi, catering to the linguistic diversity of the regions served. The recruitment is being done to form a new panel of language professionals in the two languages, as the existing panel nears its end date.
The hiring is being done for Punjabi language experts at the PIB offices in Chandigarh and Jalandhar, and for Hindi language experts at the PIB offices in Chandigarh and Shimla. The work assignments given to successful candidates will be purely of daily contractual nature and do not constitute permanent employment.
