The weather continues to be chaotic, with heatwaves and cloudbursts; you should prepare for even hotter days ahead. One study estimates that the heat wave that hit Europe in 2013 was responsible for 61,000 deaths, which is possibly more than the number of people who have been killed in the conflict in Ukraine so far.

One analysis claims that the heat wave last year killed 61,000 people in Europe, possibly more than the total number of people killed in the conflict in Ukraine to date. The following two years look to be considerably worse.
