CGI Frankfurt organises 10th International Yoga Day with several awareness initiatives
Frankfurt (Germany): The 10th International Yoga Day event organised here by the Consulate General of India’s Frankfurt office this Friday (June 21) will be remembered by the Indian diaspora here for variety of reasons, as it presented an opportunity to learn body, mind and spiritual upliftment skills to the participants. In addition to demonstrating various forms of Yoga and guiding hundereds of Indo-German community members, invited guests, staff members; live sessions on Raja Yoga Meditation, Isha Yoga for Inner Learning, Sahajyoga meditation and a presentation by Brahamakumaris country-heads in various chapters made the occasion an enriching experience.
Inaugurated by the Consul General B. S. Mubarak at a sprawling local Club stadium, following a brief spell of shower in the afternoon, making the cool weather perfect fit for vibrant Yoga and Meditation sessions, for more versatile and learning opportunity. Among the dignitaries included City Councilor(Stadtrat) Wolf-Dieter Hasler, Consulate General of Iran in Germany, industrialist Krishna Javaji, Friends of India representatives Ajit Ranade, Kamal Vatsain, Bibhu Mohanty, Ramesh Sharma and senior staff of Consulate General of India including Vibha Kant Sharma, Sanjay Jaswal, Vinod Kumar; Yoga, Meditation and inner learning instructors and practitioners teaching nitty-gritty of their skills.
The organisers had a preparatory Curtain Raiser sessions last week in the CGI office and at yoga schools like Yoga Schule Gabriele Schlitt to make the International Yoga Day an all-empassing memorable event for the Yoga enthusiasts and followers alike.
