Sanatan Dharam Sabha (Sec-91) Demands a Mandir in a Novel Way

Chandigarh/Mohali: Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha at Sector 91 Mohali, has been raising its demand for a space for building a Mandir in the area. for the last several decades.  This sector has many famous residential societies viz., Savitri Heights, Multitech, Eden Courts, Golf View, Regency Heights, GLC, Wembley where thousands of Sanatan believers living for decades but crave for having a religous place a Mata ka Mandir.

This Sunday, they decided to express their supressed feelings by flying  Helium gas filled Balloons in the sky, hoping Maa Bhagwati will sanction their desire and pave the way for fulfilment of the their wishes. Over 600 residents

comprising of kids, ladies and men, all together decided to float their demand in the air for getting Goddess’ blessings and divine help for raising a holy place of worship.  They had earlier met the Mayor, Dy. Commissioner and requested the devloper of JLPL managing director Kulwant Singh to arrange for a suitable space in the area.

Senior members of Mahila Sankirtan Mandal, Mrs Agnihotri, Mrs Anupam Gupta, Mrs Asha Sharma, Mrs Sheel Tuli gathered and sang in unison “Maa Tera Mandir Ban Jaye” on Sunday, where most families, children and senior citizens raised their voice in support of the initiative.

Suresh Gupta, President alongwith Yash Mittal General Secy., Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Mohali (Sec. 91),  led their members in chants for envoking Maa Bhagwati and Bhagwan Ram flying saffron balloons with slogans written over them.
