Yogi Govt. serves notices to 73 officers for negligence
Lucknow: In an attempt to ensure speedy redressal of people’s grievances through the Jan Sunwai portal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued show cause notice to 73 officers of the state government seeking clarification from them on charges of dereliction of duty against them.
A state government spokesman said on Thursday that the show cause notices has been served to the officials on the basis of the confidential report received by the CM Office from the district administration, tehsils and police stations regarding disposal of common people’s complaints in the month of July. The complaints were received through the Jan Sunwai Samadhan System (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) portal and the CM Helpline (1076).
The CM Office has also served show cause notice to 10 heads of departments, five commissioners, 10 DMs, five development authority vice-presidents, five municipal commissioners and 10 tehsils on the basis of the report.
Besides, the CM has sought clarifications from three ADGs and IGs, five IGs and DIGs, 10 Commissionerates, SSPs and SPs as well as 10 police stations.
The bottom 10 departments that have been served show cause notices for their poor performance in disposal of people’s complaints in July, include Personnel, AYUSH, Technical Education, Agricultural Marketing, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Housing and Urban Planning, Vocational Education, Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply and Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
