Dharamshala: Deputy Commissioner of Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal said here on Monday that the payment system based on Aadhar card is being started by the government under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi for which e-KYC and linking of bank account with Aadhaar is mandatory.
E-KYC is being done on PM Kisan Portal. He informed that the website link for the process of e-KYC is https://pmkisan.gov.in/aadharekyc.aspx. This process is to be completed on August 5, 2022, so that the beneficiary farmers of the scheme can visit the PM Kisan portal or application without any fee, and biometric verification of e-KYC can also be done at the nearest Lokmitra center.
He said that the fee for this has been fixed by the government at Rs. 15. He said that apart from this, all the beneficiaries of the scheme, whose bank account is not yet linked with Aadhaar, should link the bank account with Aadhaar and complete the process of e-EKYC as soon as possible.
DC said that the last date to complete this process is August 5, 2022, if this process is not completed within the prescribed limit, then its beneficiaries may be deprived of the benefit of installments received under the scheme. He said that the twelfth installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is going to be released soon therefore, all the beneficiary farmers are requested to complete all the formalities within the stipulated time period, so that all the beneficiaries of the scheme can get the benefit of the next installment which is to be released on the basis of Aadhar card.
