Swami Avimukteshwaranand continues indefinite fast on day 2 at Gyanvapi Mosque

Varanasi: Head of Sri Vidya Mutt Swami Avimukteshwaranand, who was prevented by police to go to the Gyanvapi Mosque to offer prayers at the newly-discovered Shivling, continued his indefinite fast for the second day on Sunday.
The seer, who was observing a sit-in dharna at front of his Sri Vidya Mutt, announced to continue his indefinite fast till he was allowed to worship the Shivling.
Police stopped him at his mutt in Kedar ghat, citing law and order issue. A large number of police force has also been deployed around the Sri Vidya Mutt.
The seer had said that he will apprise his guru, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati of Dwarka Sharda peeth. Whatever his guru will say, he will follow his instructions, added Swami Avimukteshwaranand.
The seer claimed that the Shivling belonged to God Adi Visheshwara, who cannot be left without daily worship.
The newly-discovered Shiving has been sealed on the orders of court from May 16, found in the Wazookahana of Gyanvapi Mosque. (UNI)
