Almond and other fruit trees bloom in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, MAR 11 (UNI): Spring season in Kashmir has brought cheer on the faces of locals and tourists alike. Flowers and fruit trees are blooming to present a charming sight. Orchards growing peach, almond and other seasonal fruit are presenting a cheerful sight to all.  Tourists are enjoying the sight and cold weather full of fragrance.

Kashmir grows a variety of fruits including peach, apple, Badam etc. sand supplies to country’s fruit markets, apart from exporting to gulf countries, America and Europe in large volumes.
