CM Yogi: Opposition parties competing to give tickets to criminals
Election Commission extends restrictions on rallies upto Feb. 14
Agra, Jan 31 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that a competition was going on among the opposition parties including, Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress to give tickets to criminals. Addressing ‘Prabhavi Matdata Sammelan’ here Yogi said, “See the list of the candidates there is a competition going on between SP, BSP and Congress to given tickets to those having criminal antecedents.” He said that the SP’s cap was soaked in the blood of Muzaffarnagar riot and it had committed the sin of firing bullets on Ram Bhakts. Yogi said that the previous SP regime deprived people from the facilities. “During the regime of the previous government the people were deprived on the facilities. For them development meant development of Saifai.” He said that the previous government stopped pension to poor, senior citizens, widows and especially abled people. “Our government is giving Rs 12,000 per annum to one crore poor, senior citizen, widows and especially abled people. BJP government started Kanya Sumangala Yojna in which along with free education to girls we are also providing Rs 15,000 in their bank accounts. The double engine government of the BJP has ensured security and law and order in the state,” he said. The CM has said that earlier riots took place every third day. “Riots had become the destiny of the state, but not a single riot took place in the last five years. Rioters have to think ten times as they know that their posters will come up and whatever their ancestors have earned, legally and illegally, will be taken back,” he said. He said that the BJP is working for all the sections of the society and faith is also being respected. He alleged that whenever they got chance SP and BSP have been part of the conspiracy to destroy the state. Yogi said that UP is heading towards the new height of development where all village, farmers, poor, youth and women are getting respect. “We waived off loans of the farmers, gave government jobs to five lakh youths and employment to one crore. We are before you on the issue of nationalism and good governance,” he said.
