21 families seek Lord Jagannath blessings to get justice in court cases

Puri, Dec 30: Feeling deprived of justice in the court of law, twenty one families on Thursday
went to Sri Jagannath temple, lighted earthen lamps in front of Srimandir and offered prayers to
lord Jagannath seeking his blessings to get justice.

They included the families of Pari, Nayagarh who was abducted and murdered, missing of minor
girl Pihu of Binjharpur, social activist Aditya Dash whose death is still a mystery and murder of
Ranjan Das, a RTI activist of Kendrapara.
These families have been demanding CBI inquiry into their cases.
The visit of the 21 families was organized by president of Bharat Bikas Parishad Surendra Kumar Panigrahi.
