Dhoni is top tax payer: Rs 13 crore paid as advance tax

Ranchi, Dec 2 (UNI) Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team,
has once again topped in paying taxes.
According to sources in the Income Tax Department, in the current financial year 2021-22,
he has deposited Rs 13 crore as advance tax from April 2021 to November 2021.
Along with this, Dhoni is maintaining his top position in the matter of depositing personal
tax.
Earlier in the financial year 2020-21, he had paid Rs 10 crore as advance tax from April 2020
to November 2020.
Last year also, this was the highest tax payment of the state deposited in person.
Dhoni has been on the list of highest tax payers in the state since 2017-18. For this, Dhoni
has also been honored by the Income Tax Department in the Income Tax Manthan program.
