SAS Nagar: Maintaining communal harmony with all-round development in Punjab is the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann so that Punjab can be taken to greater heights in terms of development, said MLA Kulwant Singh while kicking off the renovation and strengthening of Jagatpur to Kandala to Airport road.
Interacting with local  media after starting the construction, the MLA said that the road would be constructed by the Public Works Department within the next three months. Under the renovation and strengthening, 18 MM paver blocks will be laid on 1.61 km of the dilapidated part of the road. An amount of Rs One Crore has been released by the Mandi Board.
He further said that with the construction of this 18 feet (total 22 feet including kachcha sides) wide road, the residents of the area will benefit greatly in going to and from the airport. MLA Kulwant Singh said that it was a long-standing demand of the area residents that met today.
Addressing the people gathered from the nearby villages on this occasion, he said that according to the Vision of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, although the Aam Aadmi Party did not contest the Panchayat elections on its election symbol in Punjab,  despite this, the people elected their representatives without any conflict or dispute, who had 100 percent faith in the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party, with which the development of  entire Punjab can now be taken forward and the credit for all this goes to the people of the state.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that since the enthusiasm and hope with which the people of Punjab brought the Aam Aadmi Party led by Bhagwant Singh Mann to power in Punjab, an atmosphere of happiness and satisfaction can be seen among the people.
He said that development-oriented works are being given priority in the villages without any bias and without any conflict and the work of this road will also be completed within the stipulated time frame of three months.
